The Energy Age

Energy Fitness - Energy Savers - Energy Sources - in/for Food, Clothing, Shelter & Transportation, etc.

This timeline comes to mind from the above words...The Agricultural Age. The Industrial Age. The Communications Age. The Energy Age.

And this thought: All began & were/are necessary for life. None ended as all were/are necessary for life.

A MAJOR pre-occupation currently is the The Energy Age. Just as we went from the horse & buggy to the automobile, & from written words on paper & pencil to typewriters/computers, or spoken words in person to telephone/computer, we are moving from fossil fuel energy to solar & wind energy, etc. Pre-occupations become our occupations. Just as ag, industry, communications were/are, so with the energy age.

As with the other ages...innovations will sort & separate into those that will stay with us until we get to the next pre-occupation that leads to the next age...and it's occupations.
